Iconic Travel representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – He will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok – Gangtok the capital of Sikkim Suits all from tranquillity to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals at a height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful towns with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids, and butterflies - Nearly 135 kilometers 3 ½ - 4 hours drive – Check into hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center & Overnight stays at Gangtok.
Early morning breakfast – The local Sightseeing will be in Maruti van as this is the norm of Gangtok - Gangtok local Sight Seeing will be as per the schedule of the guide – 7 to 8 points include the following - Ganjong Monastery is one of the oldest and most beautiful Monasteries. last waterfalls - Institute of Tibetology - Hanuman Tok-Ganesh Tok - Flower Show – White hall - Tashi View Point – Handicraft and Handlooms center - The visit to all these places are done with leisure and we advise our guest to follow - Evening one is free to stroll around - Overnight stays at Gangtok.
Morning breakfast at the inn – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir about 40 kilometers and 2 hours drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, home to the red panda and the blood fowl with Rhododendron and other high trees - Situated at a height of 3753 meters/12310 feet - The Lake is oval molded lake almost 50 feet deep - Generally shrouded in snow for the greater part of the year – This lake is a place to appreciate for an hour or two – It is home to numerous transitory winged animals – Nearby is the consecrated Baba Mandir known to be a heavenly sight for the Indian Army and the general population - Nathu La Pass to the Republic of China is almost 20 kilometers and is discretionary visit - Back to Gangtok - The evening allowed to meander around M G Road (Mall) or neighborhood Shopping focus - Over Night remain at Gangtok.
Early Morning breakfast - Next the driver will assist you for the forwarding journey to Darjeeling (75 kilometers 3 hours) – Darjeeling - At an elevation of 2123 meters / 70001 feet, the land of breathtaking beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, crowned by the majestic Himalayas popularly known as the Queen of the hills - Jewel in the crown of the Eastern Himalayas with mesmerizing beauty offers spectacular views of Mount Everest, Mount Kanchendzonga and the rest of spectacular Himalayan range - Check in to hotel – Stroll to Mall/shrubbery Park - Overnight stay at a hotel in Darjeeling.
Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia LoopBack to the hotel for breakfast - After breakfast, next round of sightseeing - Half Day city tour includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda – Back to the hotel – Evening free to stroll around the Mall area or Chowk Bazaar - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
