Munnar, Thekkady and Alleppey Tour Itinerary
On landing in the Cochin aeroplane terminal, you will be met by an Iconic Travel delegate and continue to Munnar. In transit, you will go through cloudy mountains and tremendous bequests canvassed in tea estates. You can stop anytime to take pictures and move as indicated by your comfort. Upon entry in Munnar, you will register with your pre-booked hotel. Medium-term remains at Munnar.
Today morning you will set out for a tour of Munnar which incorporates the Rajamalai and Eravikulam National Park (you can recognize the uncommon "Nilgiri Tahr/Mountain goat" here). Toward the evening you can visit the Mattupetty Lake and dam pursued by the Tea Museum which gives a wonderful history of Munnar since the pre-autonomy period. (Tea Museum's end time is 4 PM and it stays shut on Mondays). At night you will come back to the hotel. Medium-term remains at Munnar.
Today after your morning meal you will continue to Thekkady otherwise called Periyar well known for the "Periyar National Park" and "Tiger Reserve". On entry, you will register with your Hotel. At that point continue for Spice estate where you can observe uncommon flavour plants and how they are developed and created. You would then be able to visit the excellent Periyar Lake encompassed by rich green woodlands. You can go drifting in the Periyar Lake (Optional). At night you will come back to the hotel. Medium-term remains at Thekkady.
After breakfast, leave Thekkady for Vagamon. We check you into the resort booked for you. The chain of three hills - Thangal Hill, Murugan Hill and Kurisumala - is a mark of religious harmony in Vagamon. The dairy farm managed by the Kurisumala monks is worth a visit. The breeding centre of the Kerala Live Stock Board is also located here. The activities are not scheduled but left for you to explore the place or laze back in the resort. Overnight stay at Vagamon.
Leaving to Alleppey in the morning, Enjoy the backwaters, scenery and different places for 21hrs in Kerala Style House boats from 12Noon. In the houseboat, you will be greeted with a welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Early Morning breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to local sightseeing and local places in Cochin and then return to Airport/Railway Station for your onward. (Happy Journey).
